Are you brand new to the sport of darts? Have you been playing for awhile and are looking to take it a bit more seriously?

Maybe you have been watching the professional darts players on TV and quite fancy the look of some of their darts? I know many people get fooled into thinking if they buy a set of Pro Player Branded Darts they are suddenly going to play like that Pro......Not gonna happen!!!!

How many golfers do you see with all the latest equipment but they can't play to save their lives? All the gear and no idea is the saying that describes such a person.

So with so many people of varying darting abilities asking this question.......how the hell do you answer it? You can't, basically.

You have to ask yourself some questions and then make a sound buying decision based on your answers. Are you brand new to the game? If so, get yourself a set of brass darts or at the very least, the cheapest set of tungsten darts you can find. If you have been playing casually and are looking to up the anti, there's loads of reasonably priced tungsten darts knocking around online. Even 90% tungsten which most of the pro's use, can be bought for £15 or less if you know where to look.

Maybe your already a regular player or even a very good player, super league or county level and are looking to buy a new set. Or maybe you can afford to splash upwards of £60 or £70 on a set. Personally, if  was you, instead of going for the latest set of Phil Taylor Darts, I would be getting my own set of custom darts made. If you are already a decent enough player, you probably already have near enough the perfect dart for you. Maybe just a little tweak of the grip is needed etc such as a few rings or grooves added to any smooth bits. Getting a set custom made for you usually costs less than £40 and may prove to be a better alternative than forking out on a new set of branded darts.

When it comes to Which Darts Are Best, the answer will almost definitely be different for every single person out there who is asking the question. I have been playing darts regularly since 1996 and only in the last few years have a settled on 1 set of darts that I know are the best darts FOR ME.

Good luck in your search for finding the perfect set.....If you end up spending quite a lot on various sets of darts, don't look at it as a waste of money, see it more as educational.

Happy Darting!!
